STORY LINE (in english):
'Customs investigator Kressin is on a ship on his way back from his vacation from the Bosporus and is talking to his two young friends Tatjana and Ulrike. He sees tour guide Ben Canitz throw orange handballs into the water. When Kressin discovers a motorboat that is collecting these balls again, he becomes aware and can even make out the' identification of the boat (Judith 3). 'He visits Canitz in his cabin and confronts him, but then leaves him alone again because he is still on vacation and actually not on duty. As the passengers disembark and get on a bus, Kressin looks around and sees two men entering the ship. They pick up Canitz and drive him to their client, the businessman Aram, who' to Canitz pretends 'that he is entrusting him with further drug deliveries. In truth however, on the pretext of wanting to give him more drugs - lured his people to the port area, where they murder Canitz.
The next morning, Kressin has breakfast with the two ladies from the ship in the hotel room and sees a picture in the newspaper of an rCLunknown dead personrCY who was found in a canal . He recognizes Canitz and gets in touch with the police. In the presidium he meets Inspector Trimmel , and the two of them drive to the hygiene institute , as Trimmel has been following a lead on drug smugglers for a long time'. This 'leads to clues that lead to the dead man, Canitz. The coroner insists on keeping the dead man's fingerprints and explains in detail how this is done. However, the actual cause of death has not been clearly established. Since Kressin does not want to work with the police and is still on vacation, he single-handedly searches for the boat Judith 3, which he quickly finds and secretly searches at night. Boat watchman Brodersen, who is sitting with two men from the harbor in his dwelling', 'hears suspicious noises from the Judith 3 The three of them manage to overpower Kressin. In a subsequent report to Aram, the latter accuses them of possibly having finished off a' police 'officer.
Kressin is in the process of being treated by his two friends Tatjana and Ulrike in the hotel room, when Inspector Trimmel shows up and tells him that Canitz was clearly a smuggler which gives Kressin official responsibility. Thereupon Kressin visits Sievers, the owner of the motor boat Judith 3 , in his villa. He asks him questions about the boat and smuggling' and 'asks what he knows about Canitz'. 'However, Sievers gives the impression that none of this interests him. He just says he can't say anything about it. In the travel agency, Kressin researches Canitz's activities and already booked trips to Greece or Lebanon and discovers inconsistencies with regard to appointments. Then he visits Canitz's fianc|-e and learns from her that Canitz has still earned some extra money with "Mara-Export" while traveling. Later at her apartment, Canitz's fianc|-e 'finds out that she has been broken into and everything''ransacked.
Kressin and Trimmel's assistant H||ffgen go to the company "Mara-Export" and look around. Obviously unwelcome, one tries to get rid of the men quickly. On a tractor with rubbish, however, they can discover the remains of the cut orange balls. Aram has now become suspicious and is certain that the customs investigation did not show up for' just another 'routine check. Kressin harnesses his two friends and sends them to rCLMara-ExportrCY at night as a distraction while he looks around the premises. But he doesn't find anything suspicious. Trimmel also wants to discard the case as a fatal accident. Kressin has booked his return trip to Cologne and says goodbye to his two friends with a meal at Willkomm-H||ft when he realizes that it is the 17th today and that a ship from Lebanon on which Canitz had booked his next trip would have to arrive. He immediately informs Trimmel, who immediately goes to the port.
The ship actually arrives, but remains at anchor in the free port so that customs have no access. While Aram's buddies have to take care of something in the customs office, Kressin and Trimmel examine the boxes on the ship that are addressed to the company "Mara-Export". But you won't find anything, because the smugglers hid the drug in an old returned steamroller . When they find out, the investigators drive to rCLMara-ExportrCY with a blue light and examine the roller, which has already been cleared. Meanwhile, Aram's accomplices are trying to get rid of drugs by sea. Kressin, however, immediately went to Sievers villa from the harbor, because the man, who appeared so calm, appeared suspicious to him from the start. Meanwhile, the men who took the drug are approaching Siever's villa' by boat, 'which is right on the water. When they enter the building with the drug, they are already met by Kressin. There is a scuffle and a mess' by which 'Sievers uses to escape. He drives his car to a waiting helicopter and disappears.
Trimmel says goodbye at the train station' leaving 'Kressin, who is now driving back to Cologne. His two companions Tatjana and Ulrike are already waiting for him in the sleeping car compartment.'

'At around 10.30 p.m.', '32-year-old businessman Joachim Fehrlein was stabbed by a still unknown man at the playground. Based on testimony, the perpetrator is a 24-year-old man in leather pants with short-cropped hair. The perpetrator is on the run. rCYThis search report is issued by the police.
Some time before:' sailor Walter Hubert has a dispute with his colleague Albert. He explains to him that he will get Milly out of the Cha-Cha-Cha-Bar today. She was his girl' friend. 'In the port of Mannheim his ship moors. After Hubert's supervisor has paid him his wages, he cleans himself up and leaves the boat. Before he goes to Milly, he takes pictures of himself in a photo booth and buys a silver bracelet with an anchor. After he' has 'another beer in a pub and' has 'a chat with the waitress Hanna, he' goes 'to the Cha-Cha-Cha-Bar.
When Milly comes to his table, he hands her the wrapped bracelet.' The 'reaction to that is just lukewarm. Disappointed and reproachful, he says he paid over 200 marks for her and her friends in the bar. Milly rejects him for a long time. He ' "should come back tomorrow''. He himself drives to the hospital while his colleague Schroth is supposed to question the witnesses to the incident. At the clinic, the doctor informs Lutz that the man succumbed to his injuries shortly after his admission', 'without regaining consciousness.
Again, Hubert drives to Milly' at 'the bar. He urgently needs to speak to her, he tells the young woman. He should wait for her later, she consoled him. In the meantime, commissioner Lutz has to bring the news of her husband's death to Frau Fehrlein. Since they found a bill at the crime scene that bears the imprint rCLEcklbaum-BierrCY and reads over 210.50 DM and' they 'found a button.
