A couple of weeks ago, we had a wide-ranging discussion of various T.V. series including some that went through a U.S. of A.'ian 're-boot'.
One of those series was, I think, "The Office" .... and, tonight, I see
we have the Premier of "The Office Australia" which I've recorded
because I'm busy watching "Line of Duty"!!
"The Office Australia"

"Melbourne Cup" Hannah's best mate/crush Danny joins the office for Melbourne Cup Day. Greta is lumped with the sales report that Hannah
failed to complete, and Nick comes in to assist her. Cons Adv. Coarse Language

Yep, Australia also does a lot of lazy remakes. Mostly of UK quiz and >reality shows where the Australian version uses an obnoxious and >loud-mouthed host (like the US versions), making it unwatchable garbage.
New Zealand also does a few remakes, again mainly of UK quiz and
reality shows, with similarly awful hosts, but due to the tiny
population and therefore miniscule number of contestants, they
thankfully don't last long.
