Another great story, this time modelled on Quatermass and the Pit.
A cross disciplinary group of scientists are examining what appears to
be a human skull recently discovered in Africa which modern dating >techniques say is over 12 million years old, clearly millions of years >before Homo-Sapiens even evolved.
The scientists are led by electronics billionaire doctor Fendahlman who
is the Elon Musk of 50 years ago. Well, except for the fact that Elon
Musk was the Elon Musk of 50 years ago, but not yet the world's richest
man. Maybe he watched this story as a child and decided to follow in >Fendahlman's footsteps.
Eerie things start happening as the skull is experimented on by
Fendahlman who thinks it is of alien origin and someone is found dead >outside the Priory, where the research is taking place, with a puncture
mark on the back of his neck, but otherwise seems to have died recently
of natural causes since he is carrying yesterdays newspaper and his
watch is still working, but his body has decayed so quickly that it
looks like he's been dead for much longer.
The scientists decide not to call the police but one performs his own >autopsy on Fendahlman's instructions while Fendahlman calls in his own >private security.
Meanwhile the skull defies the laws of physics and starts glowing,
deciding to possess the female chronology expert Thea.
Inside the TARDIS the Doctor has dismantled K9 who apparently has broken >down. He's only had him a few days. Maybe he should return him under >warranty, but they probably wouldn't accept him because the Doctor has >opened him up and started fiddling around with his circuit boards.
Leela has changed her costume to one of a lighter beige colour and the >Doctor notices the change and says he likes it as she enters the TARDIS >control room.
Leela asks the Doctor why he has taken K9 apart and refers to the robot
dog as he. The Doctor scolds her and tells her to refer to K9 as it.
Leela protests and says the Doctor calls the TARDIS she so why can't she >call K9 him?
An energy disturbance affects the TARDIS' telepathic circuits causing it
to change orientation and the Doctor struggles to correct it. He
succeeds and determines the energy has originated from Earth and sets
course to investigate what caused it.
They arrive in the middle of the country and Leela encounters and old
man passing by and captures him at knife point. Lots of comic banter
takes place as Leela releases the old man who thinks Leela and the
Doctor have both escaped from a mental hospital.
The Doctor taking on the role of an investigator questions the old man
and infers there must be ghosts and unusual stuff happening in the area.
The old man directs them to the Priory.
The Doctor and Leela set off for it and the Doctor finally get there as >night closes in and goes inside to confront the scientists and is locked
up after being accused of the earlier death.
Leela has gone elsewhere and ends up inside the home of Martha Tyler as
she is being verbally assaulted by the old man who has entered her home >uninvited and is telling her to stop interfering with the Priory and
using her black magic. Her grandson Jack Tyler enters and confronts them >both as Leela is pointing a rifle at the old man and accusing him of
illegal entry. Jack accuses her of illegal entry too and uses a walking >stick sticking in Leela's back to make her put down the rifle which she >does. The old man is kicked out and Leela is invited to have tea by the >grandmother and they become friends.
Leela tells them that the Doctor is very calm and rational as he tries
to get out of confinement and starts throwing his tools including his
sonic screw driver at the walls and furniture in frustration when they
fail to work, after which the door unlocks itself and he escapes.
Jack and grandmother Tyler say goodbye to Leela as she leaves with the >grandmother giving Leela a gift or a special charm to ward off evil in
the form of a bag of rock salt, which she also has given to her grandson.
Leela and the Doctor finally meet up again after she reaches the Priory
and saves his life after the skull tries to take possession of him.
They return to the TARDIS to do some research after the Doctor suspects
a Fendahl is responsible, due to the telepathic power of the skull and
the puncture wounds which have been left on dead people's necks, now >including the security guards, resemble those left by the Fendahleen,
the servants of the Fendahl.
It turns out from all the signs that the skull is in fact the skull of a >Fendahl which came to Earth 12 million years ago from the 5th planet in
the same system as Gallifrey after the planet exploded, and through the >power of telepathy it influenced the evolution of human beings to become >conduits for itself to use as its servants.
One of the scientists called Max turns out to be the leader of a local >caldron of the occult who has infiltrated doctor Fendahlman's team in
order to get hold of the skull and use doctor Fendalman's equipment to
bring the Fendahl to life again.
Doctor Fendalman and his ancestors turn out to have been telepathically >engineered from early man to evolve into vessels to be used by the
Fendahl to bring about this situation, which Fendahlman now realises.
This plot element concerning telepathic aliens influencing the
development of other species originates from the main underlying story
arc linking E E Smith's Lensman series, which is explained in full at
the start of Triplanatary (the expanded Lensman adaptation, not the
original version).
The Doctor reveals to Leela inside the TARDIS that all memory of the 5th >planet had been lost after the Time Lords placed it inside of a
time-loop, in order to stop it reaching other planets, due to it
absorbing the psychic energy of all other life and killing it to make
itself stronger. They both decide to stop it from destroying Earth and >taking control of the universe.
Max kills Fendahlamn and he and his cauldron bring back the Fendahl
which takes over the body of Thea. The members of the cauldron start
been been turned into Fendahleen and Max is the last one standing.
In the corridors the Doctor battles the Fendahleen, which resemble giant >green worm like creatures with red waving tentacles protruding from
their mouths, who are servants of the Fendahl, and along with it form a >gestalt.
The Doctor finally reaches Fendahlman's lab and asks the only remaining >scientist to turn on doctor Fendahlman's machine for 2 minutes to create
a diversion while he goes down to the cellar and takes the skull away in
a lead lined box, as Leela, grandmother Tyler and her son fight the >Fendahleen with rock salt.
The Doctor arrives in the cellar throwing rock salt at the Fhendal and
the Fendahleen who are assembled around a pentagram.
Max has realised by this time that he has also been used by the Fendahl
and is not going to receive universal power from it, and shoots himself
dead after he asks the Doctor to bring him his gun so as not to be
turned into a Fendahleen.
The Doctor collects the skull and escapes up the stairs as Leela throws
rock salt at the Fendahleen chasing them. They run down the corridor >throwing rock salt at the Fendahleen, because of its supernatural
powers, meet up with Jack and his grandmother, and after releasing a
cash of salt from the ceiling to block the path, escape in the 3 minutes >they had left after the Doctor told the last scientist to turn off the >machine and run away as fast as he could.
As everyone reaches safety outside, the building, which the Doctor
rigged to implode, is totally destroyed and vanishes.
The Doctor and Leela then leave in the TARDIS before anyone can find
them and ask questions about how the Priory disappeared.
Grandmother Tyler, her grandson and the last scientist are all taking
cover underneath her kitchen table and after everything is safe take tea >together.
Inside the TARDIS the Doctor says he will deposit the box with the skull >inside it inside the nearest supernova explosion which it should not be
able to survive.
The Doctor finally completes his repairs on K9 and says he'll be fine.
Leela points out that he called K9 a he after telling her not to. He
gets angry after being caught out, and shouts at her saying he's my dog
so I can call him what I like. She smirks.
Leela is back in her old dark brown costume with her original hair
style, rather than the beige one he noticed before, but the Doctor
doesn't notice she has changed. She laughs it all off as they set out
on a new adventure.
Great acting all round. Tom Baker and Louise Jameson are perfect
together. The special effects were also very good, especially the skull >merging into the face of Thea and the detailed giant Fendahleen.
Series 15 so far is looking much better than I remember it.
As with the previous stories, and unlike the degenerate soap-opera
filled shit originating from Russell T Davies, Image of the Fendahl,
which since the Target novelisation, which I own in paperback, is more >commonly referred to as The Image of Fendahl, has all the elements to >encourage people into STEM. Everything said pertains to investigation, >finding facts, asking questions, making records, analysing data, making >inferences, and drawing conclusions. The fan hating woke pieces of shit, >Davies, Moffat, and Chibnall don't have the faintest clue how to do this
and instead of hiring writers and script editors like Chris Boucher and >Robert Holmes who can't they attempt to write everything themselves or
give it to clueless and talentless diversity hires, or their talentless
and clueless friends who are nothing more than degenerate soap-opera hacks.
Haven't these degenerates read any H G Wells who shows how science
fiction should be written? These clueless individuals don't have the >remotest idea about any of the concepts involved or any of the classic >source material science fiction originates from and is based on.
Instead trying to enrage children into science, technology, engineering, >mathematics, and medicine, this bunch of perverts wants to encourage >children to become homosexuals.
It's no wonder nobody is watching the modern show.
How did these people become Doctor Who fans?
There's no hero's journey, there aren't even any heroes, everyone is
morally ambiguous, the Doctor has been turned into a genocidal monster
from another dimension which has had its memory erased of the crimes it
has committed or assisted in committing, and there's nothing to aspire
to in the woke s*t of today.
Elon Musk aspired to be a scientist, a businessman, and a technology >billionaire after watching shows like Doctor Who, Star Trek, and Star
Wars. He learned about the hero's journey from reading Greek mythology, >which like all of these shows has now been defiled by Christopher Nolan
so that it has become unrecognisable and drives people away because of
its degenerate woekery.
What is there for the children of today to aspire to, especially young
boys, when intelligence, free thinking, and masculinity are all >systematically attacked, demeaned, and derided, and woke obedience to an >ideology rooted in thought control and servitude to the elite, the
ideology of the self serving Marxist Pigs from Animal Farm, is what is >promoted?
Doctor Who has to return to its origins and recognise who its real
audience is.
People need to watch the classic series once again and learn what Doctor
Who is really about.
We learn from Image of the Fendahl that taking over peoples minds and >controlling them to be used as slaves to form a gestalt is a totally >horrific form of universal genocide which must be never allow to progress.
Next week K9 finally sneaks out of the TARDIS after being told to stay
in The Sun Makers.
We shall learn if the message it contains is really against the vices of >capitalism or if it actually represents Marxist China and its
suppression of free thought, free speech, free will, and the reduction
of the entire population into servitude, with everyone behaving as if
they were part of a gestalt.
The gestalt or hive mind is what we see in all four of the opening
episodes of Season 15.
The Rutans in Horror of Fang rock are all all militaristic clones that
live and die to serve the purpose. The swarm in The Invisible Enemy are
all one hive mind too. The Fendahl is a gestalt or a hive mind acting as >one.
Let's see what happens in The Sun Makers.

A lot of Season 15 gets overlooked because of its
highs... and the classics that preceded it.
The (relatively) 'weaker' stories of Tom Baker's era
are ten times better than anything Peter Davison, Colin
Baker or Sylvester McCoy got. This really was the high
point of Doctor Who.

Yes. The corporation in The Sun Makers is the ruling elite of Marxist >Corporatist China and Russia exporting its ideology, built on making the >elite richer and totting up the accounts to meet bottom lines, to
distant cities such as those in frozen Siberia where everyone is forced
to live in hives inside environmentally controlled blocks of flats with >central heating plants on the outskirts that serve the whole city. The >people are treated as nothing more than brainwashed slaves.
I need to watch it again to see how much it resembles Animal Farm, 1984,
and Brave New World.
If it were about capitalism then there would be opportunities for >entrepreneurship and there aren't. Instead it depicts a corporate
Marxist state like Nazi Germany and fascist Italy where industry in the >parts of Europe Hitler and Mussolini conquered was run by the heads of >German and Italian corporations.
We will see what The Sun Makers was really about next week.

What asteroid belt? The Fendahl's planet was located in the same system
as Gallifry and the Time Lords placed it in a time loop so even if it
formed an asteroid belt 12 million years ago it's isn't the one in our
Solar System which is 4.6 billion years old and it wouldn't be possible
to observe it in Gallyfrey's solar system because the 5th planet is
still inside a time loop.
One more reason why Chibnall's degenerate woke
