According to one new study using very small tooth scraping from a

That T. Rex was warm-blooded has been surmised for decades--it is
after all a close relative of the birds--but this study has for the
first time established its body temperature: 36.3 +/- 2.5 degrees
    Celsius.

It seems very unlikely that only one dinosaur was warm-blooded while
all the others were cold-blooded. The reality is that we'll never know
because dinosaurs are long gone and all that remains are fossils, not
    real animals.

According to one new study using very small tooth scraping from a
single fossil, the T-Rex was supposedly warm-blooded.
    <https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/tyrannosaurus-rex-was-a-warm-blooded-dinosaur-with-a-body-temperature-similar-to-that-of-humans-study-suggests-180989519/>

That T. Rex was warm-blooded has been surmised for decades--it is
after all a close relative of the birds--but this study has for the
first time established its body temperature: 36.3 +/- 2.5 degrees
    Celsius.

That is hardly surprising if it's true that temperature is the best de-
fense against internal fungal infections. At least, that's something I
read years ago, for us humans.

Do you think fungi have changed a lot, in the past several hundred mill-
    ion years?
