• Contacting Douglas Anderson

What's the best way to get hold of him?
An old email I thought worked name-server-time-outed.
I have just tried the "signumuniversity" address but do not
know if it is regularly checked.

I was in a bookstore yesterday and bought yet another edition of TLotR
and saw another I didn't buy but looked into...they are still using
Anderson's 2004 version of the Note on the Text.

I'm pretty sure I told him years ago that a passing statement it
makes is incorrect and directed him toward the details but this
has yet to be corrected, and if I only imagined I advised him I
    want to correct this.

To update...someone reading these postings via inklings.io
sent me an address for Anderson that worked and resulted in
    a prompt reply.

Apparently the 2004 text note is frozen as-is because
Hammond & Scull are now responsible for such things but
the history of the Ballantine text remains more complex
than stated in the still-reprinted note and this still
    needs to be corrected.

Do H&S read here these days?
    Or should HarperCollins be approached?

I forwarded it there in case anyone knew, as it probably has more
active users now. Glad to hear that someone was able to help.
