    Janice lived in Akron, Ohio, until moving to Tulsa, at the age of 10. She went on to graduate from Nathan Hale High School, before entering college at Tulsa University, where she earned bachelorrCOs and master's degrees. Janice was employed as a middle school teacher for Tulsa Public Schools for twenty-one years before serving for three years as a substitute teacher.
