New Zootopia 2 Trailer: Dwayne Johnson Joins Disney Movie Cast

Disney has released the international trailer for Zootopia 2,
the highly anticipated sequel to the acclaimed 2016 movie,
starring Jason Bateman and Ginnifer Goodwin. The movie is
slated to arrive in theaters on November 26.

"After cracking the biggest case in Zootopia's history, rookie
cops Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find their partnership isn't as
solid as they thought when Chief Bogo orders them to join the
Partners in Crisis counseling program. But it doesn't take
long for their partnership to be put to the ultimate test when
they find themselves on the twisting trail of a mystery tied
to the arrival of a venomous snake in the animal metropolis,"
reads the official synopsis.

What happens in the new Zootopia 2 trailer?
The video features Nick and Judy as they take on a wild and
mysterious case involving a snake. The results of this case
will determine if they will remain as partners or if Chief Bogo
will split them up for good. The trailer teases another
action-packed adventure, which will introduce the audience to
Zootopia's misunderstood reptile residents. Joining Bateman and
Goodwin are franchise newcomers Ke Huy Quan as Gary De'Snake,
Quinta Brunson as Dr. Fuzzby, and Fortune Feimster as Nibbles.

In addition to the trailer, the studio has also unveiled the
familiar voice cameos that will be featured in the upcoming
sequel. Moana stars Dwayne Johnson, Auli'i Cravalho, Rachel
House, and David Fane have joined the cast, along with Frozen's
Josh Gad, The Princess and the Frog's Anika Noni Rose, and
Encanto cast members Stephanie Beatriz, Wilmer Valderrama, and
John Leguizamo.

- Johnson's Zeke is an accident-prone dik-dik who meets with a
musical mishap as a result of Judy and Nick's high-speed
pursuit gone awry.
- Cravalho's Anti-Venom Pen - The antidote for pit viper Gary
De'Snake's venom, his Anti-Venom Pen is almost as cute as he
is.
- House's Gramma Taller - Currently behind bars at the ZPD,
Gramma Taller makes Nick's visit to the jail even more
unpleasant.
- Fane's Truffler - is Captain Hoggbottom's meathead razorback
partner.
- Gad's Paul Moledebrandt - Ornery mole and ZPD's IT expert,
Paul Moledebrandt, rules his domain with a tiny iron paw.
- Rose's Squel of Fortune Mouse - This adorable mouse is the
lucky winner of an almost-new car on Zootopia's favorite game
show, Squeal of Fortune.
- Beatriz & Valderrama's Bloat and Higgins - Hippo ZPD cop
partners Bloats and Higgins may be excellent swimmers, but
they can be easily distracted in their pursuit of new
fugitives Judy and Nick.
- Leguizamo's Antony - Smarmy anteater Antony is a smuggler who
bolts at the first sign of trouble.

Encanto filmmakers Jared Bush and Byron Howard co-directed
Zootopia 2, with Bush also writing the screenplay and Yvett
Merino producing the movie. The sequel will also feature the
return of Shakira as Gazelle, Idris Elba as Chief Bogo, Bonnie
Hunt as Bonnie Hopps, Don Lake as Stu Hopps, Nate Torrence as
Clawhauser, Jenny Slate as Bellwether, Alan Tudyk as Duke
Weaselton, Maurice LaMarche as Mr. Big, Leah Latham as Fru Fru,
Josh Dallas as Frantic Pig, Tommy Chong as Yax, Mark Rhino.
