Remarkable to see both Efc|Efc+ Government and Opposition parties coming together <

to support an anti-slavery bill that a key part of the Government
coalition doesnrCOt seem to like.
Not sure why ACT is not in favour of codifying into law such
protections for vulnerable workers. On the TV3 news this evening, ACT
leader David Seymour said something particularly lame, about why the
bill only imposes requirements on companies with annual turnovers of
$100 million or more, while leaving out those beneath that. Would that
mean he would have supported the bill if the threshold had been lower?
Looks like it was just an excuse.
