• Yes Coal is king

    Buried in the article

" China accounted for 56% of global coal consumption last year (2024), consuming
92.2 exajoules, which is an increase of 66% from 2005, despite repeated predictions that China had already passed rCLpeak coal.rCY

Another source is 57% in 2025. China powers up, western world powers down slightly.

So China population is 1.8 billion, world population is 8.23 billion.
China's population is 18% of the worlds poulation but it burns 57% of the worlds coal, which is on a per capita basis 3.2 times the world average.

Only idiots predict that, given that Europe continues to phase out its
own industry in favour of importing finished products from China. All
part of the civilizational suicide going on over there.

    A recent meme:
European to Chinese man: "As per our goal, we are reducing our
industry by 50% by 2040. What are you doing?"
Chinese man to European: "As per our goal, you are reducing your

So China population is 1.8 billion,

Where did you get that? Not much over 1 billion, to my knowledge.

As always, the figures vary from website to website, but in 2025/2025
it is reported as around 1.41 billion. It also depends on how "China"
is defined (disputed areas, Hong Kong counted or separate, etc.).

Yes and no. Humans continually pumping huge amounts of crap into the atmosphere and environment is obviously going to have an effect.
Whether it's the sole reason for 'Climate Change' is an entirely
    different matter.

I doubt that it is any more than trivial when compared to the emissions produced by volcanoes.

Volancoes, thermal vents, etc. are natural and big explusions are not
often occurences, so Mother Nature has leant over millennia how to deal
with. Human pollution, especially the massive increase in the last
couple of hundred years, is something very different and
near-continuous, much of that pollution isn't even natural substances.
Nuclear waste being the worst and most obvious example which can take thousands of years to fully get rid of.

Hmmm, maybe. I am not convinced.
Volcanic eruptions are often measured in gigawatts of energy released and the science is clear, that energy has to do something and most of what it does is polute in one way or another.

Yes and no? Either it is a fraud or it isn't. It can't be a fraud and
not be a fraud at the same time.

Humans continually pumping huge amounts of crap into the

How much of an effect? How can this effect be measured? If it can't be
measured then the whole narrative is nothing more than propaganda.
