    There was a Chinese delegation at the Beehive today, and part of the
    reception was two groups of protestors, one making points about human
    rights, forced organ transplants, oppression of Falun Gong followers and
    such.

    The second group was there to express support China. But oddly, that
    group, unlike the first, was not willing to talk to media at all. DonrCOt
    they understand the point of public demonstrations in a free society? ItrCOs all about raising publicity for the point yourCOre making. If you donrCOt want to talk about the point yourCOre making, then what point are you making, exactly?

    With only 37% of the population having trust in the media , it really is a
    long shot that a discussion with them will be productive.

    They are drawing attention to China's cause. Just being there and being
    noticed is the point they were making.
