Interesting to compare the TV coverage of ModirCOs day in NZ yesterday,
on TVNZ versus TV3/Stuff. Both spent about 10 minutes of their
bulletin on the event. So yeah, it was the biggest thing to happen in
    NZ yesterday.

TVNZrCOs coverage seemed to be all positive -- I didnrCOt catch any
mention of dissenting views. By contrast, TV3/Stuff did give a minute
or two at the end to some Sikh sympathizers with the Khalistan
separatist movement, and also to some pro-Palestinian demonstrators
objecting to IndiarCOs close relationship with Israel.

Of course, the Police saw to it that Modi himself saw little or
    nothing of this going on.

Why did Modi visit? I recall some mention of signing something but
    cannot recall details.

A trade deal between India and NZ.

That was signed weeks if not months ago.
