• "Rising Sea Levels" idiocy from RNZ

Really, what can you say? RNZ is infested with nutters, and the
idiocy of the day is the above article which interviews yet another
demented "expert", "Victoria University Professor Jonathan Boston, who specialises in climate change, including managed retreat and coastal relocation." The whole thing is about panicking people to believe
that we need to abandon our sea shores and coastal cities like
    Gisborne.

Of course there isn't any *actual* sea level rise. The world is full
of coastal development, even to where major constructing is done on
artifical low sand bars in the ocean, such as the mega-resorts at Abi
Dhabi, and the Chinese new islands in the South China Sea. And
billionaires love to buy beachfront homes.

What is the limit at which left-wing media gets deemed as pestilential
and as an actual attack upon the population? The whole lot needs to
be defunded and shut down. Of course Luxon can't. Who will?

I have seen the figure of 2mm/year. Not a great amount but it does/will
    build up.

    https://www.bom.gov.au/sites/default/files/styles/full_size/public/2024-10/state-of-the-climate-2024-sea-level-01.png.webp
This graph does give 4mm/yr up from 2.2mm/year

This idea of retreating to higher ground, or away from the coast lines which are subject to erosion is a sensiable thing to do. At the end of the day the insurance companies will rule via no insurance.

This is more a comment on human nature rather than much else.

In any society there will be some folks who believe that there is green
cheese on the dark side of the moon. In a free society these people are
    allowed to express their views.

The real question is one of does the other side of the arguement folks get
some funding to express their views?

A silly article from an unreliable source. Wikipedia contributors have fooled a
lot of gullible people including you.

Dear Lawrence, consider the word "actual". "Actual" is something you
see and feel. You, Larry, see and feel no sea level rise. All you've
got is political lunacy spinning in your tiny brain.

Every time there is a natural weather disaster, the mainstream media
    hustle the climate fraud.
