    Hi there

Well I thought I'd start a new thread, just read an interesting exchange
about the supposed demise of nz.general but saw Crash and Gordon chatting
away and figured I'd get this one underway :)

Just watched the landing of Artemis II which (thankfully) went smoothly :)

Just hunkering down for the cyclone. Radio NZ (RNZ) website has an
article "What can you do if weather forecast terrifies you" -- well,
    I'd stop reading RNZ.

Yep, some timelines say a permanent manned Moon base in 5 years, call
it 10. Think China is planning one, too. Will be interesting.

Just watched the landing of Artemis II which (thankfully) went smoothly :) Watched it yesterday, Nothing much has changed sine 1969 except for
the technology., I'm sure they took a lot longer with this one
than the Apollo moon landing to retrieve the astronauts from the
    capsule.

    Good watch though.
Interestingly there are still a surprising number of "Flat Earther's" who think
it is all fake. At least they will keep the rest of us amused. Tinfoil hat anyone?

Golly there's been a lot of crazy and disruptive weather as of late, poor
old Wellington just got whacked :(

I agree, the fact that NASA just changed it's Artemis schedules and time
lines will be one to watch. I thought it was a bit nutty to go from a
mission around the moon to land on it the next mission..

Yeah it's sad, must be getting harder to argue the flat earth line in
    2026 :)

It did seem to take a long time, I'm also not sure why that was.

The cadence of the missions look like they will pick up.
