    like this.

    Refined oil, ie diesel, petrol and jet fuel can only be stored for about 70 days before it is not fit for purpose. Sludge builds up from the micro organisms growing in the tank. However cruel oil can be stored for much
    longer. So with a refinery one can storge many months worth of oil and
    refine it when needed.
