Is it any wonder they also keep attacking Israel, which is then
forced to defend itself?
A brief summary of the Muslim vs. Muslim violence -- 21st century only ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Since the turn of the century, the death toll from internal conflicts within the Arab and Muslim world has reached staggering heights, with some comprehensive
estimates suggesting that as many as 12.5 million people have perished when accounting for both direct violence and the catastrophic indirect effects of war.
The Syrian Civil War alone has claimed over 614,000 lives, while the conflict in
Yemen resulted in roughly 377,000 deaths by 2022, nearly 60% of which were caused by famine and disease rather than combat. In Sudan, the current civil war
has seen estimates rise toward 400,000 deaths, with a heartbreaking projected loss of over 520,000 children due to malnutrition-related causes by late 2025.
When combined with the high numbers of casualties in Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya,
and Somalia-where the collapse of healthcare systems and deliberate blockades of
food and water have turned treatable conditions into fatal ones-the total number
of Muslims and Arabs who have died in these intra-faith or intra-ethnic power struggles far exceeds those lost in any other contemporary global conflict.
Check yer history - there's NEVER been peace in the
middle east. From the Sumerians on, likely long before
but nobody knew how to write it down properly, it's
been group against group, king against king, religion
against religion. This went on long before the Hebrews
even migrated in from near Babylon.
The dominance/revenge mindset is entrenched and the
results fill up the scrolls and tablets. Don't expect
much of a change.
Before and after Rome, Europe wasn't much better.
It's always Crush Your Enemies and Take Their Stuff.
Doesn't matter if you already have lots of stuff,
more is better and any means are justified to get
more stuff, more power.
WW-2 kind of reset Europe - replaced conquest with
trade. Don't bet on it lasting forever. Jealous eyes
covet the power and wealth of the neighbors.
The rest of the world, kind of the same picture. In
the Americas it was tribe -vs- tribe, S.America it
was empire -vs- empire. China and India - big buckets
of blood there folks.
This seems to be a 'people thing', 'human nature'.
The meek get squashed and the victors run riot
until someone squashes them - and so on.
No wonder the space aliens don't want to hang with us.
Anyway, in such an environment, best to be the biggest
baddest SOB in the proverbial valley.
