Nearly 150 more male patients are suing convicted osadisticAA former top

The sicko doctorAs depravity knew no bounds, according to disturbing
accounts shared in Manhattan Supreme Court filings Tuesday, with victims ranging from retirees to several minors.

He would inject a serum into some victimsA penises to force erections for
long periods, perform penile enlargements that led to disfigurement,
conduct cystoscopies u where a tube through the penis into the urethra u without anesthesia and force some patients to get on all fours for
humiliating supposed exams, the documents allege.

During some of the twisted sessions, Paduch walked around with a pen and
would point to parts of the patientAs nude body u oas if he were acting as
a professor,o court papers say.

oItAs worse than I could have ever imagined,o said a mother of one of the latest plaintiffs, a patient of PaduchAs at Weill-Cornell Medical Center,
in a statement provided by DiPietro.

oLearning of what happened on those visits has nearly killed me.o

Paduch was arrested in April 2023 and criminally convicted in May on 13
counts of sexual abuse in federal court. He now faces up to 60 years in prison.

He worked as a urologist for years at Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Columbia University and Northwell Health
Systems u whose prestige aided Paduch in his ogroomingo campaign, court
papers say.

oPatients trust these so-called atop hospitalsA to provide safe and proper medical care for deeply personal conditions. Patients donAt go into a
medical office thinking they are going to be exploited by some deviant criminal in a white lab coat,o DiPietro said.

At some points, the abuse took place in front of nurses, assistants and
even other physicians, court papers allege.

PaduchAs attacks, under the guise of necessary medical care, included instructing patients to masturbate in front of him u or masturbating them himself u often while playing pornography. He would sometimes measure his patientsA erect penises and use ophallic-shaped sex toyso on them.

One heartbreaking patient saw Paduch for more than a decade, starting when
he was just 7 years old.

Another victim was 13, the papers say.

One victim said Paduch squeezed his penis so hard that oit was bruised for weeks afterwards,o the documents say.

Another plaintiff claimed the doctor prescribed so much needless medicine
to him that he went into liver failure.

While a 56-year-old patient lay on an exam table, oPaduch unzipped his
pantso and told the man that ohe wanted him to see what an erect penis
looked like,o court papers say.

Paduch kept practicing his sick medicine until his arrest in 2023, but
court papers claim his employers knew of his revolting abuse since at
least 2017.

DiPietro filed an initial civil class-action suit against Paduch and his employers, which include Weill Cornell Medicine, NewYork Presbyterian Hospital, Northwell Health and Columbia University, last August.

While cases against the Catholic Church and the Boy Scouts of America
included more male plaintiffs u more than 82,000 in the Boy Scout class
action u those suits were more broadly against institutions and multiple perpetrators.

Former disgraced Columbia University OBGYN Robert Hadden holds the title
as having the most sexual-abuse female victims who have filed claims
against him. Hadden is now serving a 20-year sentence.

oThe one thing that all these places, all these cases, have in common is
that these individual predators have had a billion-dollar, multibillion-
dollar corporation thatAs conspiring with them and helping them cover up
the abuse,o DiPietro said.

In July, a judge rejected an effort by PaduchAs lawyers to dismiss and
seal DiPietroAs massive class-action lawsuit. The 143 new victims are not currently part of the class action and have filed individual lawsuits.

A rep for Weill Cornell said the hospital is oheartbroken for these
survivorso and that the institution has oimplemented enhancements to our policies and training requirements, and launched new patient safety
programs, to minimize the risk of such abhorrent conduct occurring in the future.o

Lawyers representing Paduch, NewYork Presbyterian, Columbia and Northwell Health did not immediately reply to Post requests for comment.
