The numbers prove that usenet is not dying
Wow.... Newsgrouper is becoming popular!!! --- It is quite good!
my biggest complaint is... I want to have a view wherein
all the messages can be seen in one screen (basically).

The numbers prove that usenet is not dying
Are there similar stats in other Groups?
Dave (aka The Doctor, aka Yads) posts monthly stats posts to all
of the newsgroups that he frequents, and has done so for many a
year... some find them annoying, some find them interesting.
Generally, the posting number trend is downwards, say from 10
years ago, but a good few groups are still healthy enough.
It's not Usenet that is dying per se, it's more the people using
it!
I assume the Usenet network will still be there long after
we have all passed.

<Ahem> I think you will find a direct correlation between those two. </smile>. I would agree more if you said the new generation tends
towards non-usenet media, bypassing usenet altogether.

My sons disagree with you. After we have all passed, usenet groups will
all look like this:

<smile> Glad you noticed. The clucker is not only guilty of
gratuitous posts, but he has been known to hijack other
peoples discussions by starting an alternate thread with the
same theme / and or content.
Best plonk the silly cnut, as I have.
What about posting the same thing five times? I'm sure that
helps too!!!
