    I noticed that rec.games.mecha seems to have been set to moderated and subsequently abandoned (multiple posts of mine did not elicit a response
    from the mod). How do I apply for this group to be set to unmoderated?
    Is there a FAQ somewhere?

    A group can't be changed to unmoderated, it needs to be deleted and
    recreated.
