under the namesake subject header "the eternal september", which begins:

(b. 10 april 1959, gulfport) is apparently still living but considering the unintended "never ending" meme which became the trademark of usenet, has probably heard more about this quip than anyone could possibly need (although commercial usenet providers might owe this guy some royalties)
