If the moderation address is not working, a new moderator should be
found or the group deleted from the hierarchy (if the hierarchy is
still maintained). Please discuss that with the hierarchy admins of
it.*.
The ISC should be informed if the address needs to be changed, or
removed. The reason is that the user should be informed about the
situation instead of receiving a bounce that the address cannot be
delivered.
