    Hi!

    Maybe most from the list are already aware, the Python Community
    is having the '2026 Python Packaging Council Election'
    to form a Python Packaging Council.

    Here's the list of nominations (nomination period ended 11th of August)

    The candidates posted interesting overviews of their points
    of views, recommended!

    It seems like the only person who brings a bit of
    OS level packaging viewpoint into the discussion is
    Eli Schwartz, from Gentoo.

    Let's see what this brings for FreeBSD ports etc.
