  • pkg error

    pkg-2.6.2_1 gives me the following errors at the top of any search command output:
    mail# pkg search postfix
    pkg: Error extracting the archive: 'Write error'
    pkg: No signature found
    The search does present the proper output after that.

    Are you using a quarterly? Which FreeBSD ABI (version and archtecture)?

    For aarch64 and arm64 quarterly is a 2.6.2_1 but almost all the latest
    for them are at 2.7.5 (or, for aarch64 for FreeBSD 13: 2.7.4). (Based on
    what freshports.org reports.)

    It might be that quarterly for the various FreeBSD ABIs should be updated.

    At one time I had switched off quarterly, but now it is set back to quarterly.
