May I break into the white noise that is the usual traffic in this group?

Up till yesterday my iPhone 11 and iPad 11 would only update to a version of IOS 26. But suddenly IOS 27.1 became available. Or at least, I hadn't observerved the availability until yesterday.

I had to free up some space on the iPhone before I could download the upgrade, but that apart there were no problems.

Considering the amount of whinging that goes on about the inadequacies of Apple, I am pleased that devices so "old" still get upgraded.

Maybe not all the clever features later devices get with the upgrade will be available. That's OK. The principle is established.

I now relinquish the group to the trolls, the whiners and the totally irrelevant. And to those who for some reason see fit to respond to them
