From Newsgroup: misc.phone.mobile.iphone

Hello,

iPhone 11 Pro Max's updated iOS v26's phone app shows a red "1" once in
a while, but I don't see anything. I manually killed and restarted the
phone app, and saw a red "1" in voice mail. This rare glitch happened
before. Does anyone this problem in their iPhone too? Is it the old
iPhone 11 Pro Max? A bug? Something else? This is with an old VZW
account.
