I miss the old days when "internet" was written as Internet,
    with an uppercase "I".

It is nowadays a habbit or better not known that in many
English Internet Web publications authors write "i"nternet,
which is not correct, but these authors have no clue and
have no human proofreaders as they can't afford them.

I miss the days when people did not post WAY off topic shit to newsgroups. What does ANY of this have to do with iPhones and Windows 11?

I miss the days when there were less whiners on newsgroups.

Nothing, other than that Windows and iPhones incorporate support for internetworking protocols.

Topic drift has been a feature of Usenet since I started using it
in the early 1980s and is unlikely to change at this late date.
