  • Notifications unreliability

    Since updating to 26.5 I've noticed an issue with notifications. A
    notification will appear on the screen, but when I click it to open it in
    the app (i.e. Whatsapp or Teams) the message doesn't show automatically. I
    have to either refresh the view or reopen the app to see the full
    notification. Anyone else see that?

    It does raise the question of how notifications actually work. It seems
    like the app passes the notification on before updating its own internal record. Seems daft?


    This doesn't touch the long term issue where the Microsoft Authenticator refuses to show *any* notifications when receiving TOTP requests. It worked great for a couple years then a few months ago it just stopped.
