• How to avoid iOS randomly selecting BT connections when using your headphones

I've been complaining about this on here for ages; the fact that you can be happily listening to music on your phone, but then ios suddenly decides to connect to a speaker or car that comes into range.

Turns out there's a setting to fix this.

General -> Airplay & Continuity -> Keep audio with headphones (toggle On)

I'm surprised no-one on here knew about this. Especially our 1 in a million expert.

Wow, how refreshing. Actual useful information here. Thanks!

The know-nothing, self-proclaimed "expert" did not even know that iOS has a built-in app for playing music. He actually started a thread about "What free, ad-free music playing apps exist for iOS that can continue playing when the screen goes off".

    Expert indeed.

That IS a nice little feature!

I sometimes start a conversation on my AirPods and while talking, start
    my car...

...and suddenly I'm using the car's speakerphone capability.

    I've always found that annoying.
