• Missing hearing aid ear battery status locked screen widget when iPhone's battery power is under 20%.

    Hello,

I don't know if this is by design or a bug. When my iPhone 17 (iOS v26.5.1)'s battery power is under 20% with its red color status (not using its low yellow power mode), it doesn't show my connected hearing aid's battery ear icon widget status anymore. I do see both my iPhone and ear icon status widgets when I place my iPhone sideway and recharge iPhone's battery via its USB-C cable. After I recharge iPhone's battery power above 20%, I see the ear icon battery status widget again when I hold my iPhone vertically.

How do I get my iPhone's locked screen to always show my connected hearing aid's battery ear icon widget status even when iPhone's battery is below 20%? I already tried rebooting my iPhone too when the battery power was below 20%. Is there a setting in iOS v26.5.1 to set this?

Thank you for reading and hopefully answering soon.

Are you a time traveler from the future? 26.5.1 is not out yet. :-) At least not where I live.

Why not just charge the battery when it gets down to 30%?

Actually it was released yesterday. I downloaded and installed it myself.
But I think it was only pushed out to people using an IPhone 17 to fix a specific issue concerning wired charging with that model phone.

I got it for my M4 iMac but not for my iPhone or iPad, both of which are 11.
(I know, I know - but both work fine for me so why change them?)

My M1 MacBook Pro got the update too, but not my IPad or my Apple Watch.
Not sure what the Mac update was focused on.

Nor do I, but something on the M series. I thought from what I had read that
it was only the M5, but evidently not.
