    Nope.

    Depite what the fools on some of the big Apple news websites seem to
    think, Apple does *not* use RAM memory chips in any of its devices. The
    RAM memory built into the Apple Silicon chip itself, so what happens to
    the price and availability of RAM chips is completely irrelevant to the
    memory in Apple devices.

    RAM prices and availability will affect the SSD storage drives Apple
    uses in their devices though, since SSDs are basically just a
    collection of RAM chips on a card.

    There's been rumours of splitting the iphone releases for a few months now.
    The recent spike in RAM prices - which Apple is largely immune from - is
    not the driver.
