    1. New Features & Enhancements:
    - Chapter Notes Mode (mode=chapternotes): Added layout preset tailored for chapter-based lecture notes and course modules.
    - Chapter & Objective Tracking: Introduced \chapter{number}{title}{objectives} with optional learning objectives list, plus \subchapter{number}{title} tracking.
    - Footer Metadata Toggle (official=true/false): Added boolean option to show or hide instructor and institution details in page footers.
    - Expanded Typography Options: Added support for 7 additional font packages (kpfonts, pagella, sourceserif, helvet, fira, libertine, utopia) with fallback handling.
    - New Color Theme: Introduced the purple color palette option.
    2. Bug Fixes & Rendering Improvements:
    - Vector Font Rendering: Loaded lmodern (Latin Modern Type 1 vector fonts) in both modernclassnotes.cls and modernclassnotes.sty to eliminate bitmapped Type 3 font fallback under T1 encoding.
    3. Documentation & Examples:
    - Synchronized package (.sty) and document class (.cls) implementations.
    - Updated complete user manual PDF and LaTeX source (doc/modernclassnotes-doc.tex).
