Alain Stalder submitted an update to the

    cmgraded

    package.

    Version: 1.0.1
    License: ofl lppl1.3c

Summary description: Classic LaTeX look and feel in different grades of blackness

    Announcement text: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tiny fix to make cmgraded workable with the old latex->dvips->ps2pdf.
Note that since the package normally loads Type 1 fonts at runtime,
for the above use case you have to enable the desired map files
in advance with updmap; see the package documentation for details. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alain Stalder submitted an update to the

    cmgraded

    package.

    Version: 1.0.2
    License: ofl lppl1.3c

Summary description: Classic LaTeX look and feel in different grades of blackness

    Announcement text: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tiny fix in the OpenType font files: Added FontBBox to the CFF table.
The missing box could have led to clipped-off glyphs in some viewers,
even though that had not been observed experimentally so far.

Documented exploration results for graded OpenType math fonts:

All in all, this would only seem feasible with quite significant
drawbacks, most notably without visual defects only when used in
LuaLaTeX with several tweaks in *.sty and *.lua, but not when
using the fonts in other places like MathML or Typst. See the
section "OpenType Math Fonts?" for more details.

Added an example with lowered umlauts as babel does in pdfLaTeX. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
