Summary description: A lightweight environment for single- and multiline numbered display
Announcement text: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
mathformule v0.6 is a new LaTeX2e package providing a lightweight `formule` environment for both single-line and multiline display mathematics.
Multiline formulas can share one overall equation number or receive configurable
per-row subnumbers. The environment supports extensible braces on either side, optional mathematical material outside the braces, customizable row spacing, signed brace-spacing corrections, row-level number suppression, and conventional
ampersand-based alignment. Multiline rows without an explicit alignment point are left aligned automatically.
The package shares LaTeX's standard `equation` counter and integrates with the usual numbering and cross-reference mechanisms. It does not explicitly require or load an auxiliary package and has been verified with pdfLaTeX, XeLaTeX, and LuaLaTeX.
