Udi Fogiel submitted an update to the

    lualineno

    package.

    Version: 0.2 2026-06-25
    License: 0bsd

Summary description: Line numbering in LuaTeX-based formats

    Announcement text: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    * columns are now detected from the node structure instead of with an attribute,
which seems more robust and requires less patching.
As a consequence paracol columns are numbered correctly now.

    * vertical stacking inside horizontal boxes is checked now,
so boxes that pgf stacks vertically inside an \hbox are handled.

    * the colattr key is removed as this attribute is no longer used.

    * labels inside math or after ligatures are fixed, but now labels creates
whatsit nodes (in LateX this is normal). This can create some spacing
    changes around the label.

    * A new whatsitid key to allocate the id of the whatsit which carries the label toks.

    * more examples in the documentation, and a note about tagging was added. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
