  • [version 2.0] Why do I want that?

    Other than a potentially smaller file, what are advantages of PDF
    version 2.0?

    I have already seen some docs and read some opinions. Most was about development of PDF-generating software. If you have those
    details to contribute, thank you, too.

    But especially if you can tell me what will be better on the
    user-side or for the PDF-viewer program, I would learn something
    new.

    There is one point that I do not want to exclude, although my
    opinion about XMP is already strong (I guess): This standard is
    assembled from bits and pieces found anywhere and it shows. Now I
    feel slightly unwilling to invest more time and effort into XMP.

    But as I said.., do not hold back.
