I have been trying to get a DPS program to run on PS2200. I am able to do D$SEND and the screen is displayed. When I enter data and transmit, I get an error TIP scheduling error 013. It appears that the D$SETCV and/or D$READ are not working. Has anyone been able to get this to work. -- Thanks
The scheduling error 013 indicates a bad program number. Are you using
the built-in user interface (P22SIO) or connecting externally with a UTS
emulator via CPCOMMOS and SILAS? The latter method is probably required.

Thanks Stephen. Yes, I am using the P22SIO. I will try the emulator. >>
I'll admit this is not particularly helpful in your case, but I very much prefer Qterm to InfoConnect - basically because it is so much easier to configure.
You probably could use either Qterm or Infoconnect, but I can't help you with with configuring either.

Thanks, I actually was able to get Infoconnect configured and it does work. I can now run some DPS transactions. It seems that some things may not be working. When I try some paging functions like D$STORE, I get DPS error 2 - I/O error on TERMINAL file. I tried re-initializing with DPSIF but no luck. Any ideas? - Thanks, Jim

I am new to PS2200rCa
I have started CPCOMM and SILAS, and I can connect to PS2200 using PuTTY and Windows Telnet client.
But the OS 2200 configuration is probably not complete either, $$OPEN, TAPS? rCo need help here too.
I only intend to use INFOConnect in Demand mode.
After completing the New Session Wizard and running INFOConnect
I get: SESSION PATH CLOSED.
Pg=1 Row= 2 Col= 2 NOPO
(and on the status bar: Session has been established)
Here follows my answers in INFOConnect path wizard:
Click the Connection type to be used with this path
I chose: INT-1 (INT-1 Open Transport Access to OS 1100)
Click the type of device the PC emulates
I chose: UTS60
Type the $$OPEN of the host application or operating mode to access using this path
or click a name from the list box (Environment)
DonrCOt know what to specify here!
I typed PS2200 and ticked Auto-Connect.
Type the name of the actual host application or operating mode.
This name may be identical as the name you used as the environment name ($$OPEN name).
Type any characters that the PC should send to the host at connection time. (Such as ^ to run MAPPER).
I again typed PS2200 as the Application and left the Initial transaction empty.
As the Authentication method I chose: Userid/Password
Type the name to use to identify a new host connection or click an existing host connection from the
List of connection names.
Link to: rCo I chose: Internal connection. And for Connection name: PS2200
Click the option that indicates how you connect to the host
For a DCP in IP router mode or HLC type the Transport Service Access Point (TSAP).
I chose Connection type: HLC and TSAP: PS2200 (which I know must be wrong).
IP address or host domain name: 127.0.0.3
This created a New path name: INT-! and a New path description INT-1 using PS2200 on UTS60) = T123
And my answer to What type of file transfer would you like to use? Was None.
This is probably asking allot so I will appreciate any help I can get!
Best regards,
Einar

If you were using a real Usenet client (e.g. pan or thunderbird),
you'd have the ability to post attachments, but many Usenet servers
won't accept attachments outside of the alt. hierarchy.

I thought it was possible to submit attachments because:
"Search conversations within comp.sys.unisys..."
has tick box: "Has an attachment".
