I upgraded my power supplies in my model 3 (since the originals smoked/caught on fire}. Everything looks good when I reboot EXCEPT now the previously working floppy drives no longer do. I tested the power supply voltages and they look okay. I hooked up several different floppy drives and they all do the same thing....basically nothing. When I boot the crt says "Diskette?" and the floppy drive is connected but the led never lights up or spins...I don't think its a bad floppy drive as it used to more or less work (some errors, needed cleaning} when booting before I took the model 3 apart. Any ideas? Please don't tell me it's the floppy controller....much more cost/work to fix that.I tried something else. I flipped the ribbon connector around on one of the floppy drives and the led lit up but it still didn't read the boot disk and more or less hungup.
Thanks,
-Jeff
