Hello! Wanted to tell your group about the upcoming Vintage Computer Festival East (April 17-19 at the InfoAge Science Center, Wall, New Jersey).
VCF East is a family-friendly celebration of computer history!
The first day offers 16 technical classes and free lunch.
The second/third days offer morning keynotes, hands-on exhibit halls, consignment, and tours of the InfoAge museum (including its computer history wing).
In the exhibit halls, you'll find several dozen examples of mainframes, minicomputers, homebrew-era systems, and home eight-bitters --- all up-and-running for your entertainment!
This year there will also be a special "PDP Pavilion" to honor the 50th anniversary of the DEC PDP-8.
Tickets are very affordable. Proceeds benefit MARCH (Mid-Atlantic Retro Computing Hobbyists) which is the user group producing the show.
Full details are at vintage.org/2015/east (and we're social at facebook.com/vcfeast and twitter.com/vcfeast).
