• How many CoCo 1's were produced?

I'm restoring a Color Computer 1 and noticed the serial number is 15925. Which seems like a somewhat low number. According to Wikipedia, the CoCo 1 was produced for four years.

Unfortunately, the previous owner painted the entire machine (even some of the wires inside!!!) white to match the CoCo 2 and 3. Ugh.

So it will never be factory original. But it seems like I may have a lower produced unit.

    It has 16K, BTW.

Is that common to have a SN in that range? I'd love to have a C64 with that low of a SN. :-)

I have a tandy 1000 and its serial number is 005350 and I'm quite blown away by this.
