Hi Everyone,
Something I am working on is getting a 64-bit build of curl out to the website. This will allow much bigger transfers to work and is in preparation for getting a git 64 build working.
The curl 64-bit build is not far away and will depend on OpenSSL 3.0+. There will not be a curl 64-bit build for older OpenSSL versions. Also be aware that curl 64-bit has issues with OpenSSL 3.0.4 specifically - I do not recommend using that version of OpenSSL as a result.
git has more dependencies that have to move to 64-bit before we can get git there, but there are commercial reasons why I am pushing hard for that - specifically to support NSGit customers who are asking for 64-bit compatibility (but the NSGit thing is not ITUGLIB).
Remember that OpenSSL 1.1.1 goes to limited support on Sept 27th - security fixes only, so it is time to consider moving to 3.0.x.
Regards,
Randall Becker
