Hi Everyone,
I heard that at the Git Summit last week that there is consideration being given to potentially moving Git LFS (large file support) into a regular interface using something other than the GO language. I am very happy with this as it could help customers. Be aware that Git LFS currently has some very low limits on what a file size is before it hits its limit, usually less than a NonStop TNS or native object with symbols, so this might not help many. In addition GitHub puts a 1Mb limit on LFS files, so that doesn't help either.
I plan on pushing for a much higher limit in the new interface (if I am able). More news to follow, eventually. I have a suspicion that I might be involved in that project.
Regards,
Randlal
