    Hi Everyone,
Git 2.40.1 is now available on the ITUGLIB website. Information about the release can be found here: https://github.blog/2023-06-01-highlights-from-git-2-41/
The L-series builds for OpenSSL 3.x should no longer require PRNGD to be running - other subsystems might. This might simplify your environment and speed it up somewhat.
There is an important performance improvement with this release involving reverse linkage between object pack files that might be of benefit to some users, depending on how you query the repository history.
The git packages are built for 3.0, 1.1.1, and because some of you are still stuck on 1.0.2, that one. According to the OpenSSL team, 3.1 should be binary compatible with 3.0, so you should be able to use either one with the git 2.41.0 SSL 3.0 builds. Remember that 1.0.2 is off support and 1.1.1 will be moving off support in September 2023 (about 3 months from how).
    Regards,
