I'm running motion on a Pi, but would also like to be able to take the occasional still from the same camera. It seems that I can't run the
rpicam-* software at the same time whilst motion is running. Does
anyone know of a means of doing this.

    TIA

Does PipeWire help? I understand it is supposed to do for both video
and audio what PulseAudio could only do for audio.

    Thanks, I'll have a look.

I should have mentioned (in case it's relevant), that I'm running a Pi3
with Trixie, and the video is done using libcamify and motion.
