I have a Macbook with T-Bolt2 i.e. the MDF flavor,
It's not bootable at present,
I'd like to put it in Target Mode and connect it to another Mac.
One approach might be a cable to another T-Bolt2 machine.
The other would be buying a Apple A1790 adapter and plugging into a T-Bolt3 Mac,
Either requries a M-M cable.
But:

appear to indicate the wiring of a un-T-Bolt2 MDP jack and
T-Bolt2 one are in fact different.
So will a

cable work with T-Bolt2? I don't find any mention of "T-Bolt 2"
(vs. MDP) cables.
And will it work with the A1790 to instead Target-mount to a T-Bolt3 machine? --
