You have every device they offer, huh? Better than the people spending
on caviar and Cuban cigars, at least. But Apple really is a racket.

Why are you even here and cross posting to irrelevant ngs if that's your >>> attitude?

I actually want Apple to branch out, is the thing. They have made some
gains in the market for desktop/laptop devices, I would like to see them
do more to expand on that.

As a business Apple has to follow the market. The iphone makes the most money, by far. The Mac market is about the same size as the smartwatch. https://www.sankeyart.com/sankeys/public/166640/

Given these numbers it's actually surprising how much Apple invests in the Mac as Id be surprised if it gets a return on it.

That having been said, owning every device
up to and including the fuckin' "smartwatch" blows me away.

    Then it's not for you.

You make an interesting point, that Apple maintains the Mac ecosystem
despite how it's a smaller market than their phones. It's obvious why
they would, of course, because one can't do everything with a phone, but
there are those who have dissociated from PCs and rely almost entirely
on a phone. I am interested in the fact that Apple's PC OS (macOS) has
risen in use, not that I would use it myself, but that it could continue
to if Apple expands on what they're offering.
