    Sad, but so true.

In truth, it was an absolutely great season.

Neither Dave, nor I cared at all who won the overall championship.
The racing itself was the thing.

This actually reminded me that I'd always wanted to see just how
close it was over the entire season, and the answer is: ridiculously
    close.

I just had Gemini total up all the results for all the races where
Dave and I both finished and:

"Grand Totals & Overall Season Net Differential

Alan Baker Cumulative Total Time: 257 minutes, 37.825 seconds

David McKay Cumulative Total Time: 258 minutes, 19.191 seconds

Across all 14 races you both completed together that season, Alan
Baker finished ahead of David McKay by a total cumulative net
differential of 41.366 seconds! An amazingly close battle over an
    entire year of racing."

Setting aside Gemini's need to hyperbolize with exclamation points,
    it is correct:

The differential between myself and a driver the Liarboy describes as
    "exceptional" was about 0.16%

I mean, I knew it was close, but I had no idea it was THAT close.

    :-)

LOL. You won a race against Floer, placing first! Never won over McColl.

So how good was Dave McKay? Look at 2023. Doug came back after time
off and ran most of the races, winning 8. Dave also ran most of the
races and won 5 times over Doug. FIVE times. Dave also won on October
8 when Doug had a DNS. You did not race in 2023. Was that the year you
    lost a brother?

In 2018 Dave beat Doug 4 times. You won zero races.
In 2017 Dave beat Doug 1 time, you won zero races.

Dave won a single FF season championship, you won zero times.

Dave was a legit competitor to Doug. Alan, Doug and Dave were the
elite drivers over several seasons. You had one good season and
    effectively quit after 2022.

You really are a piece of work, Liarboy.

Running head-to-head in 2019, Dave and I were essentially dead even on performance, but you can't stand that fact, can you?

So I went back and looked at a little more data. Specifically, season championship points by race. When Dave scored more points than you he
    placed ahead of you. Correct?

    2019 - Dave ahead in 69% (20 races)
    2018 - Dave ahead in 50% (8 races)
    2017 - Dave ahead in 88% (8 races)
    2016 - Dave ahead in 100% (4 races)
    2015 - Dave ahead in 73% (11 Races)

2013-2014 too few head-to-head to matter.

If you disagree with any of these results please give us the dates and
points awarded. I'll be happy to check the SCCBC records and admit a
    mistake.

As for McCall and Floer, the two undisputed elite drivers with multiple
season championships each, I think you beat Floer once by a small margin
and never beat McCall. If you dispute that please supply details.

Then too, there is a participation factor. Your participation was spotty
over all but a few years up to 2019. In 2020 there so few races no
points were awarded. After 2020 you have run in 12 or so races out of
about 120 total, 10% participation. One in the last 3 years and none
since the Sept 14 2024 incident. Correct?

And, McKay, Floer and McColl all have won season championships. You won
none. Correct? How can you claim to be in the same category as any of
    these three?

I beat Dave multiple times in 2019 as you acknowledge, so how is

And FYI: while I can't recall if I ever beat Alan McColl, I most
    certainly did beat Doug Floer.

You never beat McColl. I think there was one race out of many where
you placed first and Floer was second.

I never beat McColl, because I never got to compete against him in
    fully-competitive FF.

I only started racing in 2013, Liarboy, and Alan's last race in FF

That would be Alan for you. Cherry-picking 2019 data is not explaining
HOW Dave McKay beat you to the finish line more often that not. Or why
you did not follow that up when Doug Floer and Dave McKay came back
    full time in 2023.

Hmmmmm...maybe the fact that I was supporting my family after the death
of my younger brother had something to do with it.

Did Erle Archer winning the 2022 FF championship make him and elite
driver? No, Doug Floer and Dave McKay sat the year out except for
McKay's two races run. It's easy to win when the best drivers do not
    show up.
    You're making my point, Liarboy.

Championships are the result of many factors; driver ability being only
    one of them.

Supporting your family? How? That was years ago. You have not raced for
years. Did you sell #21 to help them out? If so well done.

So you are claiming that you are an exceptional driver, but cannot
compete with others because you never the entire package required to win

    Sad, but so true.

In truth, it was an absolutely great season.

Neither Dave, nor I cared at all who won the overall championship.
The racing itself was the thing.

This actually reminded me that I'd always wanted to see just how
close it was over the entire season, and the answer is:
    ridiculously close.

Setting aside Gemini's need to hyperbolize with exclamation points, >>>>> it is correct:

The differential between myself and a driver the Liarboy describes
    as "exceptional" was about 0.16%

I mean, I knew it was close, but I had no idea it was THAT close.

    :-)

LOL. You won a race against Floer, placing first! Never won over
    McColl.

So how good was Dave McKay? Look at 2023. Doug came back after time
off and ran most of the races, winning 8. Dave also ran most of the
races and won 5 times over Doug. FIVE times. Dave also won on
October 8 when Doug had a DNS. You did not race in 2023. Was that
the year you lost a brother?

In 2018 Dave beat Doug 4 times. You won zero races.
In 2017 Dave beat Doug 1 time, you won zero races.

Dave won a single FF season championship, you won zero times.

Dave was a legit competitor to Doug. Alan, Doug and Dave were the
elite drivers over several seasons. You had one good season and
    effectively quit after 2022.

You really are a piece of work, Liarboy.

Running head-to-head in 2019, Dave and I were essentially dead even
on performance, but you can't stand that fact, can you?

So I went back and looked at a little more data. Specifically, season
championship points by race. When Dave scored more points than you he
    placed ahead of you. Correct?

    Look at you!

    Moving the goalposts!

I'll be happy to check the SCCBC records and admit a
    mistake.

As for McCall and Floer, the two undisputed elite drivers with
multiple season championships each, I think you beat Floer once by a
small margin and never beat McCall. If you dispute that please supply
    details.

Then too, there is a participation factor. Your participation was
spotty over all but a few years up to 2019. In 2020 there so few races
no points were awarded. After 2020 you have run in 12 or so races out
of about 120 total, 10% participation. One in the last 3 years and
none since the Sept 14 2024 incident. Correct?

And, McKay, Floer and McColl all have won season championships. You
won none. Correct? How can you claim to be in the same category as any
    of these three?
Because driver talent or lack of it isn't proven by how many
    championships one has one.

What I know is that all three of them consider me to be their equal
    behind the wheel.

You are the one who set the goalposts at your best year ever, by a long
shot. You do need to look at the longer run.

Simple, your new nickname is Fakerboy. Thus the totals do not tell the complete story. The totals are a fake comparison.

There were 16 races you both ran

Dave placed ahead of Fakerboy in 11

Dave outright won 10 of 16 races

Fakerboy outright won 3 of those 16 races

Fakerboy was so close in season points only because Dave DNS for the
    first race date.

That is not all by chance. Dave was a much better driver than you in the
    2019, and all prior seasons.

What's painfully obvious is that you created a high pedestal for him

    ...Dave McKay...

(whom you refer to as "exceptional")

...and I raced over 4 hours of racing head-to-head.

    And after all those races...

    (14 in all)

...our total times were within 0.16% of each other...

(Just 41.366 seconds, or a little less than 3 seconds a race)

    ...and mine was the faster.

    Suck it, asshole.

That would be Alan for you. Cherry-picking 2019 data is not
explaining HOW Dave McKay beat you to the finish line more often
that not. Or why you did not follow that up when Doug Floer and
Dave McKay came back full time in 2023.

Hmmmmm...maybe the fact that I was supporting my family after the
death of my younger brother had something to do with it.

Did Erle Archer winning the 2022 FF championship make him and elite >>>>> driver? No, Doug Floer and Dave McKay sat the year out except for
McKay's two races run. It's easy to win when the best drivers do
    not show up.
    You're making my point, Liarboy.

Championships are the result of many factors; driver ability being
    only one of them.

Supporting your family? How? That was years ago. You have not raced
for years. Did you sell #21 to help them out? If so well done.

So you are claiming that you are an exceptional driver, but cannot
compete with others because you never the entire package required to
    win a season crown?

I'm not claiming I'm exceptional, Liarboy.

I'm stating as verifiable fact that I raced with someone you declare
    to be "exceptional"...

(with no real basis to declare anyone any such a thing, but we'll
    gloss over that)

...and over the course of entire season racing head to head, we
completed over 4 hours of races (4h 17:37.825 for me to be precise)...

    ...within 0.16% of each other.

Yes, Dave won more races, but how can I be this mediocre driver you
claim me to be and actually complete all those races in LESS time that
    your so-called "exceptional" driver?

    :-)

Simple, your new nickname is Fakerboy. Thus the totals do not tell the complete story. The totals are a fake comparison.

There were 16 races you both ran

Dave placed ahead of Fakerboy in 11

Dave outright won 10 of 16 races

And we only raced head-to-head in 14 of those.

You're counting both a race where I was taken out by a rookie driver's
    poor overtaking attempt...

...and one race from which I voluntarily withdrew.

    So it's 9 head-to-head wins.

Fakerboy outright won 3 of those 16 races

    Head to head, I won:

    CACC #3, Race 1
    CACC #4, Race 2
    CACC #6, Race 2
    CACC #6, Race 3

Funny how a supposed PhD suddenly looses the ability to count.

Fakerboy was so close in season points only because Dave DNS for the
    first race date.

That is not all by chance. Dave was a much better driver than you in the 2019, and all prior seasons.

You should really think things through, Liarboy.

Consider what it means that while Dave won more races than I did...

...but that running head to head, I finished all the laps we raced
    together faster?

You surely have enough innate sense for figures to work that out, right?

    Sad, but so true.

In truth, it was an absolutely great season.

Neither Dave, nor I cared at all who won the overall championship.
The racing itself was the thing.

This actually reminded me that I'd always wanted to see just how
close it was over the entire season, and the answer is:
    ridiculously close.

I'll be happy to check the SCCBC records and admit a

They are just nicer people than you. They have real trophies on their
shelves. You get a participation trophy. Well, not even that any more.
    You even stopped participating.

You a faking a ranking by cherry-picking a single statistic in a single
year. That is why you are now Alan Fakerboy. I'm looking a more results statistics over several years and finding you are far from Dave McKay
and even further back from Floer and McColl.

Based on your single season criteria Erle Archer, who won the 2022 FF
trophy, is exceptional. Not. In that year he placed ahead of you in 3
races and you won only 3 of the 8 races run despite some historically
weak competition. Maybe he is a better driver than Fakerboy based on

Simple, your new nickname is Fakerboy. Thus the totals do not tell

Irrelevant, because it still wasn't Alan who made the "extraordinary"

Funny how a supposed PhD suddenly looses the ability to count.

Again you ignore the bigger picture. My count is correct. 4 out of 11 is
    not 50%.

    You ignore that you lied.

There were 16 races where you ran against each other. Your poor driving and/or lack of preparation is no excuse. Even if you take those two out
you are still nowhere close to being fully competitive with Dave. Even
less so looking back in time. At your very best, still a loser.
How was my "poor driving" to blame for a rookie driver making an

Tommy goes on these rants which are from his personal insecurity.

It goes back years. For example, he's tried to brag about his personal wealth, but resists any consideration of making fair comparisons, such
as since how wealth compounds that he's got a ~20 year advantage over
others. Similarly, any personal preference or choice that wasn't
identical to his own is criticized as invariably a "bad" one. And so
    forth.

Overall, despite his high opinion of himself, he's quite average, as his financial brag was largely because he worked a decade longer than the
age that most people choose to retire at, into his mid-70s.
