• How to remove the black goo?

    Just discovered that someone sendt me a complete 8570 instead of one
    without a sysboard. Not complaining.

    The black foam on top of the PSU has turned into the dreaded black goo.

    What works well in removing that goo?

    remove as much as you can using plastic blade knife, then vacuum the
    rest off, whatever left use alcohol and tissue to clean it by hand.

    I found spiritus more helpful over isopropanol for many goos.
