the VRAM i have seen had a notch

    ______________
    / |
    |______________|
    xxxxxxxxxxxxx

but others had a point or a dot
    ______________
    | o |
    |______________|
    xxxxxxxxxxxxx

both indicate the same for the orientation of the in socket installation

As UZnal stated before the @7017.adf is produced during installation
with the utility disk, IIRC the HYPERAMx.ADF is the revision or version
of the ADF which the MASTER.ADF copied from in turn it is used to
produce the @7017.ADF, but let me look again into the files to confirm it.

nope I was Kinda wrong, it seems HYPERAM5.ADF contain the 1st section of
the MASTER.ADF file, so IMHO both files needed to produce the @7017.ADF
    file by the utility.
