    I have a sneaking suspicion Wizardry 7 notices your save pattern. If you haven't saved for awhile it is eager to throw a curveball at you.

    It could just be me, but if I can exploit it to swing at some curveballs (that's what's hard about Wizardry, finding the right battles), they are massive experience.

    After playing Wiz6, Wiz7 and WizGold a number times, it is clear to me
    that it does indeed take note of your saves. For me, the most obvious
    one is getting my arse kicked by say 6 monsters and then I would
    reload and find there maybe now only 3 monsters. It has happened too
    often for this to be an accident or not. :)
