Hi,

I've recently started a position coding in COBOL on the iSeries/AS400. I had COBOL in school and actually used it about a half-dozen times throughout my 20+ year career. All but two of those times was to convert COBOL programs to RPG/ILE.

I was just wondering if others have been in the same place?

Don't get me wrong, I'm totally looking forward to it. The job is great since I'm working for a government contractor; it's remote, so I can work from home; & the salary is more than I've made since I left a Fortune 500 company about eight years ago.

Let me know your experiences and/or thoughts on the matter.
