Hi,
aioe NNTP server is down, and the Usenet service collapses... Is
there an alternative? I mean an equivalent to nntp.aioe.org?
Thanks,
Regards,

Well, as far as alternatives, if you can't find an alternative server,
you can always call my BBS. I just started adding groups, but if you
have a list of groups that are active and not 90% Russian Viagra ads, I'd
be happy to add them. ;)
That's how I've been getting my news fix.

Hello,
I migrated to news.eternal-september.org to access this group. You
just have to create an account and you'll get an ID and password.
I am currently writing this post from the TT with STING and TROLL 1.6
as news/mail client.
On your BBS, you can add fr.comp.sys.atari, the french Atari ST
group. No ads, not too much active but sometimes useful!
Guillaume.

To which Commodore Clifford replies...You know of course, that ATARI is a French company, don't you?
I wouldn't mind adding it if the gateway operator was fine with it, but I don't really have any French speaking users that I know of... Not sure
how much we'd be able to contribute. :(
Then again, Google Translate is our friend.
